What is the appropriate age to buy kids or teenagers their own cell phone? When cell phones came out for everyone to buy, usually the parents had it first. Then we started seeing it in the hands of their 18 year olds, then to 17 and 16 year olds. It started looking normal for everyone to have cell phones, which was good for so many reasons. A year went by then the 12 year olds had their own phones and now the 10 year olds started denmanding it from their parents. Then I started seeing it in the hands of 8 years old then 5. I even seen some younger kids that have it, but I’m hoping they are just playing an innocent game on it. Cell phones have so many good things that are useful to us which made us very happy and made life easier. It also helps the younger kids for emergency reasons, or if you need to find them and contact them directly. But, it’s also dangerous for our kids to have, someone might put them in in danger to steal the phone from them. They look up information about anything that they are too young to know yet, or maybe you as a parent wanted to be the first to tell them. Even adults use it for devious reasons by texting each other when in the same room so you don’t hear. Kids use it at school during tests or text each other the answers. Videotape a classmate or a teacher without their knowledge. Technology is made to make things easier for us. Please use it for information or any God thing that it offers you, also think about how old is the right age to buy one for your kid. ??
Video games instead of real people ?⚽️???️??♂️???♂️
Why are kids playing video games so much instead of interacting with kids their age. The video games is like your invisible friend you had when you were little. It’s replacing real people and kids aren’t learning how to deal with their friends at school because they can’t push a button with them. It’s making them violent and not social. They are not exercising enough and becoming hooked to the t. v. screen. They yell out loud or get angry and out of control. Parents don’t recognize their own kids in that state of mind. They are not spending enough time with their families and friends. Their circle of people are shrinking. Video games should not replace babysitting or their homework time. It should be a privilege to have that one time of the day to play games when it gets dark. Kids should play outside with other kids or play sports, and if only when it’s the right time parents should allow them to play a short time.
Changes ⏰☔️❄️???♂️?
Time changes twice a year. Seasons change four times a year. People change throughout the year.
Rain clouds fog equals romance ☔️⛈?
I love the rain, the clouds, cold foggy days. We don’t get much of that here. We have hot and hotter. It’s so romantic to me when it’s foggy and I can’t see far away.I just put whatever that I want that’s in my head behind the fog. Days like these, if we get any I like to go for a drive alone in my car and turn on nothing just so I can hear the rain coming down hard. My favorite road to drive on is the road with two lanes, tall thick forest trees on each side to block whatever is behind it. The road curves one way then the other way. It’s thick fog dark clouds raining so hard. If I can add Twilight, not the movie which I love, the time of the day. Where it’s still light out but kind of blue grey reflecting from the sky, during sunset. With no billboards, and no buildings and definitely no traffic. This is my dream. What’s yours? You can write back to me if you want under comments. I would love to see if there are more romantic people like me out there.
No pressure ????✌️??
The holidays are just around the corner. We have so many things to be thankful and be prepared for. Let’s do it all with enthusiasm. Some of us feel the pressure of the holidays more than enjoying it. Some of us don’t celebrate the sane holidays. Some of us go crazy happy for the holidays. Let’s try something new this year. No matter how we feel about things, they are going to happen. Let’s not feel pressured or sad or angry about anything that’s not in our control. If someone says to you MERRY CHRISTMAS or Happy Hanukkah and you don’t celebrate those holidays, just smile back, so what they are not wishing anything bad upon you. Whatever people celebrate depending on their religion is fine, as long as they don’t tell you not to celebrate yours. When I say MERRY CHRISTMAS to anyone that doesn’t mean I don’t understand their religion. I actually respect whatever you wish to celebrate. So please let’s be respectful and understanding to each other this year for all the holidays. We have so many wonderful and happy events to plan for, we don’t want to put a dark shadow on these delightful days.
Happily ever after ???
Ahhh weddings we plan so long for our HAPPILY EVER AFTER. We go on our honeymoon and return back to reality. After some time, with God’s blessing, we have a baby or two or three. We get our dream home and maybe our dream job. We eat healthy, exercise and raise our kids as best as we can. Few years down the road we start complaining about each other. Maybe your husband isn’t romantic anymore, or your wife doesn’t take care of herself any more, because you both thought it’s okay to do that since you both found love. I see marriage kind of like buying a new home. Yes it’s brand new, but just like a new home marriage has the same care and love that you both need to put time into. You paint, do the floors, get new furniture, plant new trees or flowers or sometimes you completely remodel your home. You do this throughout the years to keep it looking new and nice. Now the sane goes for your marriage. Just because you are married doesn’t mean you are done. Continue doing to your wife or husband what you both did for each other when you were dating. Show each other the same love and respect. Be there for one another. Husbands come home with a happy surprise or flowers or leave love notes for your wife. Wives, don’t nag at your husband as soon as he gets home. Greet him happily and try to look your best. You get my point right? You work and plan to have a beautiful wedding so try the same after marriage. You will live HAPPILY EVER AFTER.♥️
Trick or Treat ???
My experience when I was a little girl on Halloween was one of my happiest nights. I get to wear any costume that I wanted and go trick or treating. My cousins and friends all got together at my house early to have dinner and leave for candy as soon as my mom said it was okay to go knock on doors. Some teachers were nice and didn’t give any homework that night, but some were not as nice and still gave us homework. Like if that one night of homework was going to make us genius. Some people were so kind to give good amount of candy and some homes gave us a penny. We couldn’t understand why as a kid someone would do that to us. Some people’s lights were not on but we still knocked on the door but they never answered. My mom told us not to bother them, but we wanted to try anyway with hope in our eyes that they might of forgotten to turn on the lights. So now as an adult I want to tell everyone who isn’t in the spirit of these young kids who knock on your door at night on October 31st. Please is you can, turn on your house lights and welcome these kids that have planned on the whole month what costume to wear and what candy they wish to collect. Answer your doors with smiles on your faces and be generous with your candy. Just remember what you were feeling many many years ago on Halloween night.
Snoring a good sleep. ??♀️
Last night I posted about snoring and if you can relate. It’s so funny how your husband or the man in your life never admits he snores. If your man admits to it, it’s always for a good reason. He worked late, he stayed up too late, my nose is plugged or he drank too much the night before at the party you both went to. I try my best to sleep before my husband so he doesn’t keep me up by snoring all night in my ears. I tried to wear ear plugs which are uncomfortable for me. Sometimes I get five hours of sleep because I feel bad waking him up to turn over. Then I think to myself maybe I snore too, but he doesn’t say anything because he is too nice. So if your man is a good man, he works very hard to give you a great life and is a fantastic father, I guess I can take his snoring. It’s music to my ears.
Train tracks ???
Wouldn’t it be nice if we had train tracks all around United States going from state to state through breathtaking sceneries. Crisscrossing on a high speed bullet train to take us anywhere within hours. We already had so many tracks that we stopped using for cargo use only. In Europe they travel from one country to another so fast without the hassle of driving or getting on a plane. Why can’t we do that here? Can you imagine going on a vacation to your favorite state within hours stress free. Maybe having dinner or a drink on the train and you get there carefree to start enjoying your vacation. We are in this beautiful country that has so many beautiful places to see, I just wish the transportation was stress free for all of us by taking this bullet train to our gorgeous country of USA.
Twilight is back ??♥️????
There are a few love stories that come to mind when I wNt to watch a romantic movie whether it’s old or new. One of them happens to be Twilight. I know some of you might be rolling your eyes. I guess I am a sucker for old innocent love stories, when lovers didn’t jump into bed five minutes after they met. I haven’t met a girl yet that doesn’t want to have a romantic relationship. You can be a strong female or be a CEO of a company but still have a romantic side of you. There are lots of other romantic movies to watch, but only some can touch my heart like Twilight did. That’s why I am happy to announce that; Twilight 10th year anniversary is coming to selective theaters on October 21, 23. Those of you who missed the first Twilight on the big screen, like me, here is your chance. ❤️
